The Bazaarium is Open for Business!

Greetings! We are pleased to announce that our humble store is now open again, just in time for the holidays! We’ve added a great variety of silhouette Mastepiece Theatre framed prints to our shop, as well as a new limited edition T-Shirt!

Please note that orders within the US need to be received by Friday, December 17th in order to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas. We are unfortunately unable to guarantee Christmas delivery for orders outside the US.

Greetings! We are pleased to announce that we have added some new wares to our shoppe, as well as restocked our Dollar Dreadful Family Library. Among the new items are new Silhouette Masterpiece Theatres, Screenprinted Pillowcases, and a Holiday card set!

Please note, in order to receive your order by Christmas, all domestic orders must be received by FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18TH.

We unfortunately can not guarantee International Christmas delivery due to customs and other factors. Of course, the earlier you order, the more likely you are to receive your item in time.

Widows & Orphans Show in NYC!

Your presence is humbly requested at Wilhelm Staehle’s Type Salon and Gallery Show to be held at the esteemed Type Directors Club in the city of New York on Thursday, December 3rd at 6 o’clock post meridiem.

Here you will find a selection of Wilhelm’s morbid yet charming works, such as fanciful letterforms along with pieces from his infamous Silhouette Masterpiece Theatre, Dollar Dreadful Family Library, and more. Come prepared to purchase all manner of dark and delightful stocking stuffers for when Krampus visits your home for the holidays to spread warnings and punishments to bad little children.

Come to hear the elusive Wilhelm speak about his twisted creations, and stay for the strange company. We do hope to see you there…

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Kindly note that it will cost $20 to attend the opening and hear Wilhelm speak, unless you are a member of the TDC.

However – there will be a FREE preview of the show from 4-6pm for those who wish to see the show/purchase stocking stuffers without paying the fee to witness Wilhelm’s presentation.

We do hope you will take advantage of this, as the show is going to be quite spectacular!

Bazaarium Summer News and awkward social networking!

We have been having quite the busy summer here at the Bazaarium! Due to a mention in Australia’s Home Beautiful magazine, we have been receiving a great many orders from down under! A hearty thanks to all our new Australian fans for your patronage and patience as we handle the sudden demand!

In other news, Wilhelm has dared to tip his toes into the water of social networking and has started a Twitter account! Why not add to his growing sense of paranoia and follow him?

Bazaarium also has a page on Facebook! Do become our fan! If we can collect 1000 fans we shall be able to garner our own vanity URL. Is that not a lofty goal to work towards?

Furthermore, Wilhelm and T.D.Rio shall be making a rare appearance at the San Diego Comic Con next month. Verily, we shall have a booth in the Small Press Area (M10, to be precise!), and will be selling their usual wares in addition to some new goods not yet on the online shop! As if that were not titillating enough, they shall also be debuting a convention-exclusive Silhouette Masterpiece Theatre framed print which shall be ONLY available at Comic-Con! We shall unveil its design shortly, along with some other goods that will be available at the show!

Shop Updates

Greetings! We are pleased to announce that some new Silhouette Masterpiece Theatres have been added to the shop. These include Artist/Pervert, Dandy Lion, Online Predator, and more! As always, if there is a piece you would like to see added to our store, please contact us and let us know! If there is enough demand, we will add it to our wares!

Also, a limited number of our Dollar Dreadful Family Library are back in stock! We are currently in the process of printing a 2nd edition which will be available in the Spring. However, there are 20 first-edition copies of each title left to purchase! These are quite limited so do not delay!

Wilhelm’s Debut a Success!

EVENT FORTHCOMING: Wilhelm’s Gallery Debut, February 6th, 2009

We at the Bazaarium have some very delightful news! The elusive Wilhelm Staehle will be making his solo gallery debut at the Hibbleton Gallery in Fullerton, CA on February 6th, 2009. The opening reception is from 7-11pm. Do come and take advantage of this rare opportunity to view Wilhelm’s disfigurement in person and view ( and purchase) some new, exclusive silhouette pieces.

We do hope your holiday and New Year were delightful. You may have noticed that our Dollar Dreadfuls are currently “Sold Out”. Fear not, they will be in stock shortly. We are simply ordering new paper and also making some minor corrections to the texts which will result in our 2nd printing of the collection. So those of you who have ordered DDFLs in the past, take heart in knowing you are proud owners of the 1st edition booklets! The 2nd edition will be every bit as charming as the first – so newcomers need not fret. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

A Holiday Announcement of Utmost Importance!

For deliveries in time for Christmas, we ask that all domestic orders be placed by the evening of December 18th. As of right now, we can not guarantee that international orders will arrive in time for Christmas.

In addition, we will be on holiday between December 21st and December 27th. The Bazaarium will remain available for those wishing to shop, but please be aware that any orders placed during that time will not be shipped until after we return.
